Where and When is Beyond?

Friday September 30th – Monday October 3rd.
Gates open 1:00pm on the Friday.

Program starts at 6:00pm

Line Up and Program

We’re working hard to bring together Australia’s best storytellers and advocates for justice. This includes amazing musicians, writers, poets, comedians and educators.

The line up will be released throughout the year.

The final program will be released closer to the festival.

Volunteering

Beyond Festival would not be possible without volunteers.

Camping

Camping is included in the ticket price.

You must camp in the designated camping area.

Camper trailers and vans allowed but please note campground is unpowered.

No reserving large spots.

No open fires.

Gas cookers, lights etc are fine.

The camping area has hot showers and toilets.

Car Parking

The festival is pedestrian only. There will be ample parking close by the main festival precinct.

No vehicles allowed in the camping area.

Accommodation Options

Camping is included in the ticket price. But if camping isn’t your thing then you may wish to purchase a cabin onsite (that sleeps 4) or a room at our partner hotel The Statesman.

The cabins and hotel rooms are for sale by room only and for all 3 nights.

No booking for single or two nights.

Cabins and hotel rooms strictly limited and will be allocated on a first in basis.

Disabled Facilites

The festival site has wheelchair accessible bathrooms.

Where possible festival venues will be accessible too.

 

First Aid

Feeling woozy? Twisted your ankle during an impromptu game of stuck in the mud? Our dedicated first aid team are there to help. You’ll be able to spot the first aid team roaming around or hanging out in their well equipped room.

Kids at Beyond

There will be a kids program for primary school aged children. This program will run at set times during the festival and will be staffed by a qualified team.

There is no cost to the program.

Parents must sign their kids in and out.

 

Food

There will be several amazing food stalls and venues across the festival.

Feel free to bring your own food too.

Alcohol

Our main venue ‘The Capital is a licensed venue serving craft beers, cider and wine.

No BYO Alcohol at the festival.

ATM's

Amazing food, quirky stalls and artist merch all require monies.
Some stalls may have eftpos facilities but most will be cash only.

We’ll have some ATM’s onsite.

Charging

Need to charge your phone, camera, light saber? For a gold coin we’ll charge it for you in the Beyond Store.

Security

As one of the venues at Beyond will be licensed we’ll have professional security onsite. We’ll also be conducting random car searches at the gate as no alcohol can be brought onto the premises.

Smoking

The festival site is smoke free, this includes the camping area.

Tickets/Wristband

Beyond is a ticketed event. Anyone over the age of 4 must have a valid ticket.

Tickets will be exchanged at the gate for a wristband.

 

Tickets are available for sale online from May 4th.

Tickets will also be for sale at the gate.

Lighting

Strobe lights, haze machines and fast moving effects may be in operation across the festival venues.

Lost Property

Lost property can be reclaimed from the festival office.

All lost property left at the conclusion of the festival will be discarded or donated to charity.

Who is Beyond?

Beyond Festival Ltd. Is an independent company whose sole purpose is to implement Beyond Festival.

Beyond Festival is organised by a small committed team lead by the Festival Coordinator, Robert Howie.

The organisation is governed by a board of directors, which currently includes.
